Assessment obligations are set forth in the deed restrictions, also known as Covenant and Restrictions, filed in Dallas County (Instrument number 201300037131, restated on February 5, 2013). The Beverly Oaks Homeowners' Association files federal taxes as an IRS 528 for profit corporation. The Association has had a franchise tax exemption since 1987. The Association does not have a 501(c) (4) not-for-profit federal tax exempt designation letter. The Association has not been issued a sales tax exemption from the state of Texas. The Association is not exempt from paying property taxes.
